Albumer Secure

Terms and Conditions

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and DOR Industries, LLC ("we", "us") covering the Albumer Secure apps for iPhone and Android, albumer-secure.com, and everything we provide through them. By creating an account or using Albumer Secure you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Albumer Secure.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use Albumer Secure, and the details you give us should be accurate. Keep your password and PIN to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@albumer-secure.com if you think someone else has got into it.

Your photos are yours

You own everything you put into Albumer Secure. Your photos and videos are encrypted on your phone before upload, so we store them without being able to see them. You give us a narrow permission to store, back up and deliver your encrypted content to you and to the people you choose to share an album with. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not sell your content, license it, use it to advertise, or use it to train artificial intelligence.

Albums you share are visible to the people you invite, and members can add their own photos. Think about who you invite before you share.

Community rules

These apply to everything you upload or share, to album and folder names, to comments, and to the people you invite. You may not upload, store or share:

You also agree not to access albums you have not been invited to, interfere with or probe the service or its security, scrape or bulk-download content with automated tools, resell access to Albumer Secure, or impersonate anyone.

Reporting and blocking

Every photo, album and comment can be reported from inside the app, and you can block a person at the same time, which hides their content from you and stops them sharing with you. We review every report, normally within 24 hours.

Child sexual abuse material

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. When we become aware of it we preserve the content and account records, report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as required by law, remove it and permanently ban the account. Encryption does not change this.

If you break these rules

We may remove content, restrict your account, suspend it, or close it and delete its contents, without notice where content is illegal or someone is at risk. Serious violations are reported to the authorities. If you think we got it wrong, email us and a person will look again.

Your PIN and recovery

Because your photos are encrypted with keys protected by your PIN, keep your PIN safe. If you forget it, "Forgot your PIN?" lets you set a new one after confirming your account email. If you lose access to both your PIN and your account email, we may not be able to recover your photos.

Free plan, storage and subscriptions

Albumer Secure has a free plan with a set amount of storage and ads, and paid plans with more storage and no ads. Current limits and prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel, and are cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled under Apple's or Google's policies.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Delete My Account) or as described at albumer-secure.com/account-deletion. This permanently deletes your albums, photos and keys and cannot be undone.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

The Albumer Secure name, logo, apps, website and software are ours. You may use them to use the service as intended; you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute them.

Availability

We work hard to keep the service running and your photos safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults, and we may change or discontinue features. Please keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. Except as promised in these terms, the service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, or US$100 if you are on the free plan.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you don't accept it, you can delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, and the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona have jurisdiction, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
